The Device Health card can be found on all device pages within the QuantAQ Cloud. The card's purpose is to communicate the status of each underlying system subcomponent. Each subcomponent is labeled and colored by its status as shown in the image below.

An example Device Health card.

Additionally, the overall state of the device is described by the color of the full-width bar between the title and the individual subcomponents.

State Definitions

The color and meaning of the individual subcomponents are listed below.

State

Color

Meaning

All clear

Green

This subcomponent is working as expected.

Warming up

Orange

This only applies to the gas sensors and implies the device is 'warming up' which happens for the first hour after a power cycle.

Needs attention

Red

The subcomponent is broken and/or needs attention. Please contact support or reference the table below.

Flash Storage (SD Card)

If the SD card subcomponent is listed as broken (i.e., red), it can imply one of a few things:

  1. The SD card is not properly installed and/or present

  2. The SD card is full and cannot write more data (unlikely)

  3. The SD card is corrupt and needs to be replaced

If you notice the SD card is listed as broken, please verify that it is present and installed properly. If you determine the SD card is not operating properly when installed, you can either (1) replace it with any FAT32-formatted SD card or (2) contact support and we can ship a replacement.

Note: the SD card is not required for operating the device successfully. You can opt to remove it completely and you will still receive all data via the QuantAQ Cloud.
