Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a common way to secure accounts by adding an additional layer of security. Your data and your account are protected even when your password is compromised as you must also have access to the physical device (e.g., phone, computer) that you used to set up your account. MFA is a key piece of any enterprise-grade security plan - you can learn more about this practice from leading security organizations like Okta and Duo.

Enrollment Guide

QuantAQ's self-enrollment process makes it easy to register your phone, computer, or tablet as a second layer of protection.

Enrolling Your Phone or Tablet

QuantAQ prompts you to enroll post-login. If you would like, you can bypass enrollment by clicking Setup MFA Later, though enrolling will be mandatory by December 1st, 2023.

Step One: Welcome Screen

Click the blue Continue button to begin enrolling your device.

Step Two: Choose Your Authentication Device Type

Currently, QuantAQ requires an authenticator app on your smartphone such as Authy, Google Authenticator, or Duo Mobile. For instructions on using a web browser-based solution, see the instructions below on Enrolling Your Desktop or Laptop Computer.

Step Three: Activate Your Device

Using your authenticator app, scan the QR code shown on the screen. On your mobile device, a verification code (6 digits) will appear. Enter the 6-digit code into the Verification Code text field on your screen and click Submit.

Enrolling Your Desktop or Laptop Computer

If you don't have access to - or prefer not to use - a smartphone, there are browser-based extensions such as Authenticator that allow you to use your browser as your second form of authentication. Before enrolling your device, you will need to follow the instructions provided by the authentication extension of your choice to install the extension in your browser.

Step One: Welcome Screen

Click the blue Continue button to begin enrolling your device.
