The expected lifetime of a sensor depends on the environment it is deployed in. Under normal circumstances (e.g., typical urban or rural deployment), our sensors are expected to last at least three years without the need for servicing. If deployed in harsh conditions (e.g., extreme heat, extreme measurement conditions, etc.), sensor components may need servicing or replacement more often.

We recommend inspecting your device on an annual basis to ensure there are no obvious signs of degradation or blockages (e.g., spider webs on the inlet). If you believe there are signs of degradation or a loss in data quality, please contact support and we will help identify the root cause.
